The New York Times, March 29, 1919 – The NAWSA convention, in St. Louis, Missouri, ends with resolutions calling for passage of the Federal Suffrage Amendment and endorsing the proposed League of Nations. In Jefferson City, the capital of Missouri, the Legislature passes a bill allowing women to vote in presidential elections. read clipping
